Freediving in South Carolina
Instructor Andrew Raak will be hosting Freediving Clinic in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina this Month of March. This clinic will be geared towards anyone that would like to participate in practicing their free diving skills under the supervision of Instructor.
Freedive Clinic Tentative Schedule
PADI Basic Freedive Course (Classroom + Pool Only)
- Sunday 9am Feb 25th Classroom Development and Pool
- Sunday 9am March 4th Pool Clinic and Practice*
- Sunday 9am March 11th Pool Clinic and Practice*
- Saturday 9am March 17th Pool Clinic and Practice*
- Saturday 9am March 24th Pool Clinic and Practice*
All Participants must have mask, fins, and snorkel. A Wetsuit is highly encouraged.
All students are welcomed to STUDENT DISCOUNTS at EXPRESS WATERSPORTS.
COST- $149 PADI BASIC FREEDIVER (Classroom + Pool Only)
Note: Additional Training and Charter Fees Required for Open Water Freedive Certification.
*Must have completed PADI Basic Freediving Course Work or Possess Freediving Cert from an Accredited Agency.
MINIMUM AGE Requirement 12 yrs old.

PADI Freediver course – Develops the knowledge and skills for basic static apnea, dynamic apnea, free immersion and constant weight freedives to depths between 30-55 feet. When completing open water training is not feasible or desirable, students complete just the knowledge and confined water skill portion of the PADI Freediver course to earn the PADI Basic Freediver rating.
